Auditions – One Touch of Venus

by Schnorbitz 2 July 2009 One Comment

Urgently looking for one final male actor to join us in a rare production of Kurt Weill’s hilarious musical comedy One Touch of Venus at the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

We’re rehearsing in Croydon, and performing at Augustine’s from 10th to 23rd August, with a preview in Croydon on Sunday 2 August.

Ideally you’re a tenor (but a baritone would be workable), and you’d be able to perform funny characters on stage.  You’d need to be a confident singer, and a competent mover.  You’d be doubleing as a tougher-than-he-looks police lieutenant, and as the perfect man (a rival for a nerdy barber’s fiancee’s affections).

For more information, and a full prospectus in Word about the production, please email me on mjp_hall [at] hotmail [dot] com.

Thanks!
