Jane Lockyer Willis has produced this Monologues and Duologues for Men and Women aimed at the more mature actor. In total there are 13 monologues and 5 duologues , some amusing and some sad. Each piece has the running time attached to it, making this booklet ideal for auditions, with times varying from 2 minutes to 8 minutes.
This was an enjoyable booklet to read , and there are some certainly some suitable pieces for exams and practice work, as well as auditions. The writing is clever and the characters well observed. And it’s great to see something available for the more “experience” actors and actresses among us!
