These fun and informal workshops will introduce a fascinating selection of scripts from The Women’s Library collections, from suffrage plays to the drama of the Women’s Liberation Movement. Through ‘play’, drama exercises and performance, we’ll explore some of the triumphs and pitfalls of feminist theatre! Workshops are led by Joanna Ingham (Soho Theatre and Writers’ Centre, Battersea Arts Centre, the Almeida Theatre and the Roayl Shakespeare Company). Enthusiasm rather than experience required!
