Auditions – Chase Me Up Farndale Avenue, S’il Vous Plait!
Yarm Border Players are performing one of the ever popular Farndale Avenue comedies by David McGillivray & Walter Zerlin Jnr.
This time the formidable members of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society are presenting a ‘comedy très saucy’ in honour of their visitors from France . Nothing goes according to plan and the performance deteriorates into hilarious chaos, with every performer playing two or three roles (which rapidly become confused), and the terrified wardrobe mistress standing in at the last moment, script in hand. But, with unshakable resolve, the Guild members battle on to the bitter end.
Performance dates are 17-20 November 2010. We will be reading the play on the 2nd of Sept 2010 and auditioning on the 6th of Sept. Details of times and places are on the website www.yarmborderplayers.org.uk.
Yarm Border Players are an amateur dramatic society based in Yarm, just south of Stockton-on-Tees in the North East of England.
