Southport Spotlights Musical Theatre Society (formerly Southport Amateur Operatic Society) is presenting the chilling musical Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The show will be in February 2012, at Greenbank Theatre Birkdale, Merseyside, but rehearsals will start shortly.

So if you think you can be a Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham-Carter, or take any of the other parts in this amazing musical, please come along to the first meeting at 8pm on Monday 12th September at All Souls Church Hall on Norwood Road, Southport PR8.

At this meeting a brief talk will be given about the show and its characters by the Director, Stephen Hughes-Alty. At the end of the meeting rehearsal pieces will be given out for the later auditions.

Spotlights will also be looking for people interested in helping backstage in areas such as wardrobe and props.
