Male Actor Required for Peter Shaffers EQUUS!!
We are looking for a confident actor to take the part of Frank Strang in our new production of Equus.
The part requires emotional depth and sensitivity and is a pivotal role in this fantastic play.
Ideally, our actor would be late 30′s – 40′s, a strong, typical head-of-the-family-type, the ability to use a Northern accent may be required but is not necessary.
The playing dates are 9th – 17th April 2010 at the Stables Theatre, in Hastings, East Sussex. Rehearsals will begin mid January and be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. This part is a medium-sized role and therefore you will not be required to attend every rehearsal.
We are unfortunately unable to reimburse any travel costs though accommodation will be available for the run.
