Singers required 02 Arena Event
We have confirmed the songs to be included and these are listed on the website http://www.voiceinamillion.com/" href="http://www.voiceinamillion.com/">www.voiceinamillion.com under tracks – All of the songs are well known numbers. The lyrics to all numbers have been uploaded to the site and clearly highlight the sections that the choirs will need to sing.
In addition on July 24th all tracks will available to download so you can rehearse to your hearts content
We will be featuring soloists in the event however, these participants will be required to be auditioned at Shepperton Studios in August (6th, 7th, 13th & 14th) and rehearsed prior to the event at the studios too. Soloist will need to perform one of the listed songs.
Footage from the event will be used during national adoption week on ITV “This Morning” when an album of the event will be released for public sale.
On the day, 23rd September 2009, you will need to arrive at the O2 with the participants at 2pm, rehearsals start at 4pm, Show will start at 7.30pm. There is a 30 minute interval and so the event is scheduled to end at 10pm.
The relevant forms that need completing are now available for download from the website http://www.voiceinamillion.com/" href="http://www.voiceinamillion.com/">www.voiceinamillion.com need completing and returning as soon as possible and preferably, if possible, by return:-
1. VIAM (Voice In A Million) Application Form – This must be completed and returned by all schools/organisations and returned as soon as possible to confirm participation. We must have the original returned by post but would be grateful if the completed form could be faxed or email so the administration can be started.
2. Participants List – This needs to list the details of all participants and must be completed by all schools/organisations. I have attached a pdf version but also an excel (xls) version as completion and return by email would be preferable if possible.
3. Chaperones List – This needs to list the details of all chaperones and must be completed by all schools/organisations. I have attached a pdf version but also an excel (xls) version as completion and return by email would be preferable if possible.
4. Payment Options & Information Form – There is a minimal charge of £10 for each participant and chaperone to cover administration and the T-shirt that will be supplied for the event. Payment can be made by the individuals if the information on this form is made available to them or the school/organisation can collect the payment and make payment on behalf of all participants.
Participant places are only reserved but then confirmed on receipt of the participants payment.
We greatly appreciate that time is limited, but like all wonderful charity projects (Live Aid for example) works on momentum with a CAN DO attitude and to that end we would provide the tools (lyrics, music and general logistic info) that the teachers need as soon as possible in order for you and your children to be able to participate in this fantastic and historical event.
