We have just released a new one-act comedy about modern art called “Mirror Image“ for 3m & 1f by Dr Chris Joby. A wealthy banker has bought a reflective piece of modern art, very reflective … it is in fact a mirror in a special artistic frame, but is it genuine or has he, and indeed are we, being fleeced? Free download of the first half from from our website at http://www.playwrightspublishing.com
We are also offering a special introductory offer for theatre groups of three night’s performance royalties for the price of two!

Hi, We are a tiny Am Dram Society based in Lanzarote, Canary
Islands, and this year are having difficulty finding enough folk
able to commit to rehearsal time to put on a show. We would love to
find as ascript/scripts for Radio palys, to be performed reading
from the script in front of microphones – just like they do on The
Archers! The material needs to be funny so the cast can ham it up.
Do you have anything suitable?
Is Chris Joby the new Stoppard? His latest comedy “The Chair”
bristles with intellect and musical knowledge. It is a Choral
Society Committee Comedy for 4f & 4m ISBN: 9781873130759 £7.00
each Royalties £40pp. The committee for the choral society are
about to have their first yearly meeting in John’s house and John
has finally achieved his life’s goal – to be elected “The Chair” or
President – a position he believes should have been his years ago.
In his mind he will be the best, the most masterful President the
society has had and befitting his new-found status he will control
the meetings from his wonderful new acquisition – a Queen Anne
chair. The problem is that the rest of the committee don’t have as
high an opinion of John as he does himeslf. Is he the real thing
and is his chair the real thing too? Things start to sound a little
discordant … Download first part of “The Chair”

groups – a romantic comedy with a mature female lead entitled
“Saffron Lady” by Frederick C.Webb, casting requirements 4f &
