The Mellow Dramatics are pleased to announce their next production: ‘A Chorus Line’ which is coming to Burton on Trent in May 2012. The 1975 musical is about a group of hopeful dancers auditioning for a place in a Broadway show.
The show is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. In between learning audition moves, they each reveal their most personal stories in interviews with the director, Zach. Through song, monologue and dance the audience glimpse into the personalities of the performers as they describe events in their lives that have made them who they are today, and their decision to become dancers.
But which 8 dancers have done enough to convince Zach that they belong?
