Sidcup Operatic Society are proud to present “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” on 21-24 April at the Bob Hope Theatre, Eltham. Sidcup Operatic Society (SOS) is a musical theatre company that performs shows, including musicals and light operatic works, once or twice a year (in April and November) as well as music hall, concerts and the annual 'Christmas Cocktail' of words and music. Large production shows are performed at the Bob Hope Theatre, Wythfield Road, Eltham, London SE9 5TG Smaller events are held at Hurst Community Centre, Hurst Road, Sidcup, Kent. SOS welcomes new members in all capacities - backstage, front-of-house, wardrobe, and singing, acting and dancing. We welcome all potential members to come to a Friday rehearsal, where you will find a warm reception, and to join in with the society. We rehearse mainly on Friday evenings for chorus and full company from 7.30pm-10 pm, but also have principal rehearsals, once the show is cast, on Wednesdays at Hurst Community Centre.
