DESCRIPTION: When Beverly asks new neighbours Tony and Angela over for drinks, what an evening it turns out to be. The award-winning Wick Theatre Company presents Abigail’s Party, an iconic seventies’ comedy drama by Mike Leigh, which was a smash hit both on stage and TV. As the alcohol takes effect, events start to get out of hand, finally with devastating results. A fascinating reminder of how we lived and played back then, this play will make you laugh, and it will make you squirm, sometimes both at the same time.
