• Notes: A tremendous hit on stage and film; the musical follows the adventures of Annie, an orphan, in 1930s America, as she searches for her parents in order to leave the confines of the dismal orphanage run by drunken Miss Hannigan. Along the way she meets, and changes the lives of, Oliver ‘Daddy’ Warbucks, a millionaire, President Roosevelt and Sandy, a lonely mongrel dog. An extremely catchy and melodic score by Charles Strouse includes “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile”, “It’s A Hard Knock Life”, “Maybe”, “Easy Street”, “A New Deal For Christmas” and the hit song “Tomorrow” (The sun’ll come out tomorrow).Annie promises to be a real treat for the family so early booking is essential.
