Auditions for Great Expectations at The Barn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City.
Great Expectations, adapted by Hugh Leonard, will be playing at The Barn Theatre from 16th to 24th October and we want YOU to be in it! In early June, director Chris Bruce will be holding open auditions for all parts of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, and everyone is welcome to try out for one of the many roles on offer. Auditions will be held on Monday 1st June (8pm), Wednesday 3rd June (8pm) and Sunday 7th June (2pm) at the Barn Theatre, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City.
This is an exciting play to be involved with and contains a large ensemble cast of old, young, men, women and children. All are welcome to simply turn up and try out for a role, but if acting’s not your thing, please come along to ask about taking a backstage role as we need plenty of people to help stage, costume and run the play.
Please note that all backstage volunteers and people who receive an acting role will be required to become a Barn member for insurance purposes, if not a member already.
