Auditions – A Christmas Carol in Essex

Auditions at 8pm Thursday 30th of July and 8pm Tuesday the 4th of August
Parkside Players of Ilford Essex are performing A Christmas Carol on 8th to the 10th of October this year. We are auditioning and reading for various speaking parts male and female at the Parkside community theatre, 176 Good mayes lane Goodmayes, Ilford, Essex, IG3 NPP. It will be more a reading than audition and is very friendly and informal, we are looking for actors of all age groups and experience levels. We are a group with a long history and have won various awards over the years at such festivals as Felixstowe and Hartford. We are always welcoming to all new actors whatever their stage exp. Our age ranges go fro 15 to 80 and we encourage a friendly atmosphere for newcomers to be welcomed into.
The production of “A Christmas Carol” is by Karen Louise Hebden, and was performed professionally at Derby and Edinburgh in the last few years. The adaption has over forty speaking parts and many christmas carols so there is much scope for newcomers to get involved.
