Sarah Kane’s Crave brutally confronts love, loss, sex and power. Four characters inhabit a desolate place in which they are forced to confront each other, as well as themselves. Through their interaction and emerging relationships we witness the pain of being human and how the one that we love is the person that can hurt us the most – how we must expose ourselves to the risk of pain and devastation in order to ever stand any chance of achieving great happiness.
