“Passion Play” is the story of Eleanor and James, a late middle-aged couple whose marriage is thrown on its end by Kate, the young widow who successfully sets her predatory sights on James. It’s a simple enough story and one of the oldest in the book, but Nichols makes it seem as fresh as springtime. He does so in a variety of ways, starting with the basics of good storytelling, intelligent dialogue, and interesting characters.

This is going to be performed for two nights at the Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December 2011. (this possibly might tour)
