Auditions for Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare’s classic romantic tragedy about two young star crossed lovers whose untimely deaths ultimately unite their feuding families. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers. It is a tragedy and explores the themes of fate, prejudice, and the risks people are willing to take for love, but is not as dark as some of the other classics with lots of comic potential throughout, some fantastic iconic roles, and lashings of romance…
