• Other Information: Following the huge sucess of our 2010 summer show, Little Shop of Horrors, we will shortly be holding auditions for our annual panto; The Amazing Mazie Ploppins.

The Amazing Mazie Ploppins, written by our very own David Armitt, is a modern re-telling of ‘The Swineherd’, ‘The Princess and the Pea’ & ‘The Frog Prince’, interwoven into one story led by a Dame who is not practically perfect.We will be having the initial script read-through on 10th August followed by a music run-through on 17th August. Open auditions will be held on Tuesday 24th August at 7.30pm.

The Quay Players Amateur Dramatic Group was established in 1997. We rehearse in St. Anne’s church hall, Thorburn Square, London SE1 every Tuesday 7.30pm-9.30pm, and generally perform two shows a year: a pantomime at Christmas and a musical in July. We are always keen to recruit good singers and if you can dance too – even better!
We are a sociable group and often call round to the local pub after Tuesday rehearsals. There are quiz nights, birthday meals, trips to the local bowling alley, and of course the occasional karaoke night too!
