Cody Farnborough Operatic Society have produced a succession of critically acclaimed musicals.  Established for over 80 years we are probably one of the largest societies in the area.  Most recently we were proud to receive three National Operatic and Dramatic Association awards for our production of “The King and I” including the coveted Accolade of Excellence.

Our next show will be ‘The Full Monty’ which will be performed from 20th to 25th September 2010 at Princes Hall, Aldershot. Rehearsals and auditions will take place at Velmead Junior School, Velmead Road, Fleet, Hampshire, GU52 7LG.

Auditions were due to take place on Sunday 18th April from 2pm – 6pm at Velmead Junior School but had to be postponed due to the air travel chaos.  Auditions will now take place on Sunday 25th April from 2pm – 6pm.

Please be aware that all adult non members are required to pay £5 audition fee and children non members £2.50 which will be deducted from your yearly subscription fee if your audition is successful.  All full members who have allowed their subscription to lapse will be regarded as non members and so will be liable to the charge.  There will be one, possibly two children required for this show and parents will be required to fill in a form giving consent for that child to audition.  All adult non-members must also fill in an application form. These forms must be filled in prior to the audition and can be provided on request by the Secretary.
