Do you fancy taking part in open-air theatre in a beautiful setting in front of hundreds of people? Look no further. Guildburys’ 21st production at Farnham Castle (Surrey) takes place in July. Auditions will be held in April. There are great parts of all sizes for both sexes. (Ladies, please note – there will be more opportunities than the three roles given in Shakespeare’s Dramatis Personae).

Over twenty years, Guildburys have built up a loyal and enthusiastic following for their annual open-air show at Farnham Castle. The play chosen is generally a fast-paced costume comedy and this year is no exception. Shakespeare’s wry look at the battle of the sexes will be given a completely new look which will offer great opportunities for actors and actresses of all ages and experience. Especially worth noting is that there will be more roles for ladies than is usually the case with this play. It’ll be fast, furious, funny… and fun! Production dates are 14-17 July (including a Saturday matinee).
