Boom Bang-a-Bang
- May 19th 2009 7:45 pm to May 23rd 2009 7:45 pm
Chelmsford Theatre Workshop are producing ‘Boom Bang-a-Bang’ this May. From the writer of ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’ and set in 90′s London comes this comic and moving tale of a man struggling to come to terms with the death of his partner. In a move to help him move on from his grief, Lee holds a Eurovision party – his first trip into normality since the untimely death of his lover. But in true Jonathan Harvey style, things never work out as planned and the party is one not to be forgotten. This is a comic and moving story with one eye on the sub-gay culture of the 1990′s and the other on the truly British humor that has made Harvey famous for being one of the best modern comic writers.
‘Boom Bang-a-Bang’ runs from May 19th to May 23rd at the Old Court Theatre, Chelmsford Essex with performances at 7.45pm.
