Bugsy Malone is the well known children’s musical about gang warfare in New York during the 1929 depression. Our production will be performed with a mix of young and mature actors. Bugsy is a smooth city slicker, always looking to make a fast buck and keep out of the firing line of the two gangs, Fat Sam’s and Dandy Dan’s mob. When Blousey Brown comes to town looking for work as a singer at Fat Sam’s club, Bugsy falls for her, and promises to take her to Hollywood. With crisp and witty dialogue by Alan Parker and toe tapping and sometimes soul searching songs by Paul Williams, this is a great show for all the family.
