• Notes: ‘Clippings’ is a two act musical set in and around a successful barbershop in the late 1960′s. The show with its original Jazz/pop/rock score, follows the ups and downs of 4 main characters and deals with topics including love, marriage, alcoholism and gambling whilst showing the power of friendship over all.It’s 1968, Ben’s barbershop is in full swing and running as a highly successful business. Amidst all the business success, Ben meets Maisie but, before long, his gambling and drinking sends the relationship and the business into a downward spiral. MJS Productions stages this all new show for three premiere performances at Hurstpierpoint College Theatre in February 2006.
