- Notes: This play contains 3 of the well-known TV episodes – “The Deadly Attachment” in which the platoon have to guard a captured U-boat Captain and his crew, and contains the infamous line – “Don’t tell him Pike”. “Mum’s Army” in which the platoon recruit women into their ranks, with the exception of Mrs Mainwaring. So, when newcomer Mrs Gray enlists, Captain Mainwaring is set for a brief encounter… “The Godiva Affair” in which the platoon rehearse their Morris Dancing routine as part of a fund-raising carnival parade. Also included is “The Floral Dance”, which is not from the TV series, but originally written as a short sketch for the Royal Variety Performance.
