This provocative, award-winning drama is set in a country new to democracy. Gerardo has just been chosen to run the investigation in to the crimes of the old regime when his car breaks down and Dr Roberto Miranda picks him up. But Gerardo’s wife, Paulina, thinks she recognizes his voice as the man who raped and tortured her years before.
Join this threesome in their torment as Paulina is torn between her psychological repressions and somber memory, Gerardo is torn between his wife and the law, and Dr. Miranda is forced to endure captivity while husband and wife seek out the uncertain truth.
