• Notes: Fame the Musical is a comedy-drama set in New York City’s High School for Performing Arts. It follows a group of young music, dance and drama students over a time of four years between 1980 – 84. We see the students cope with Hard Work, disputes and fragile relationships as well as the usual problems that youth have to deal with. They are the last class to graduate from the landmark building on West 46th Street, and with the help of four dedicated teachers they are determined to reach their goals, whether they strive for Friendship, Love or Fame!
