Group Open Evening

Other Information: On Wednesday 3rd June the Halifax Thespians are opening the doors to the Playhouse and invite the public to come and see what we do… and see what part they could play in our future!The theatre on King Cross Street will be open to all from 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd June. No experience needed. Learn something new. Rediscover old skills. Socialise!
During the evening there will be auditions for actors, guided tours of the theatre, the bar will be open, scenery will be being built and painted, lighting and sound equipment explained. There is also a chance to meet the myriad teams that ensure the theatre is an exciting and fun place to be.

The Thespian members come from all walks of life but share a common passion for theatre. That passion can be expressed in many ways as there are so many opportunities to get involved.

So come and be part of a team, be it acting or directing, set designing , painting scenery or stage crew, sound recording or coffee making, costumes or gardening, lighting or front of house. No matter how much or how little time you can spare, your involvement will make a difference!
