• Notes: “Honk” is a musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling”, written by Stiles & Drew (contributors of new songs to the West End production of Mary Poppins). The show previously beat the Lion King to Best new Musical at the Olivier Awards. “GLOC Musical Theatre have been great fans of George Stiles. He suggested that Honk! would make a great GLOC show so we decided to take a look at it. What we found was a gem of a show and we agree with George that it would make a wonderful vehicle for Gloc’s enormously talented company, and provide entertainment for audiences of all ages.” Karen Anstis, Co-Director.
