• Other Information:Three couples, two dinner parties and a furtive affair form the basis of Ayckbourn’s deliciously fast paced, thought provoking hit comedy exploring marriage, infidelity and social class.

  Bob has been having an affair with Fiona, the Boss’s wife, but now they are about to be found out! Anxious to hide their deceit, and with no time to think, the guilty pair invent bogus alibis in the unsuspecting Mary and William Featherstone.

  When the Featherstone’s are then inadvertently invited to dinner, a catalogue of misunderstandings and lies, leads to highly comical and sometimes startling consequences.
