FELIX HUMBLE is ODD! He must be …what sort of a chap turns up for his own father’s funeral in ancient cricketing whites, when neither he nor his deceased father had an interest in cricket?

His mother is a different kettle of fish, somewhat haughty, rather glamorous. Her first actions on this day are to get rid of the swarm of honey-bees which had been lovingly looked after by Felix and his father during Dad’s life. The elderly, knowledgeable gardener Jim adds his support.

Felix has had an affair with a young lady named Rosie and may well have fathered her child, but he doesn’t know it.

However Flora Humble (his mother) and her affair with Rosie’s father is known about by almost everybody – except poor Felix who is much too preoccupied by matters of science to be aware of life around him.

So! How are things going to develop with all the people involved, including Flora Humble’s friend and companion, Mercy Lott.

This is where we witness SEX, SECRETS AND LIES; the unfolding of the various mysteries makes for an intriguing piece of work by multi-award winner Charlotte Jones.
