6th May:  Dance Audition Technique (all levels)

Julie Armstrong is Head of Dance at the Royal Academy of Music.  Julie’s West End credits include, West Side Story, Follies, Chess, Jolsen
This will be a warm-up followed by learning choreography and how to perform it even if you forget the steps!  A must for anyone in musical theatre.

13th May: Commercial Casting Technique

Tracy Hart changed career from West End performer ( A Chorus Line, Chicago, Your A Good Man Charlie Brown ) to become a casting director for Crocodile Casting. Tracy will be here to give guidance and film groups auditioning for a commercial.  We will then watch it back and discuss.  A real insight into the advertising profession.

20th May: Singing workshop with Jae Alexander

Back by popular demand! Jae Alexander is a top West End Musical Director.  West End credits include, West Side Story, Crazy for You, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls.  Jae will be sharing his expertise and experiences whilst teaching classic show tunes.

27th May: Dance Class

Our very own Chloe Freedman will put you through your paces with a fun dance class

3rd June: Acting workshop with Jill Nalder

No stranger to the West End, Jill has performed in Les Miserables, Oliver and Gypsy to name but a few.
Jill will run a session which will show how to develop a character within a play or a musical .  If you thought it was just about reading the script then think again!

All workshops are held at St Mary’s Church Hall from 8.00pm till 10.00pm.
