Exeter Musical Society is proud to announce that the will be performing one of the best scores ever written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar. The rock opera is the story that sees the political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus, based on the account in St John’s Gospel of the last seven days in the life of Jesus Christ, beginning with the preparation for the arrival of Him and his Disciples in Jerusalem and ending at the Crucifixion.
With such songs as, ‘Ev’rythings Alright’, ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’ and of course the title song, ‘Superstar’.
