- Notes: This is a comedy based on a short story by Oscar Wilde. Lord Arthur has his palm read by Mr. Podgers, renown cheiromantist and his past is clear. He is told that he will commit a murder in the future so he endeavours to commit a crime before his marriage to Sybil Merton. The faithful butler, Baines, is at hand to help out and also the “help” of Herr Winkelkopf, a German anarchist. Plenty of fun and misadventure.
