• Other Information: 19-22 May 2010, 7.45pm, Ruislip Dramatic Society presents MURDERED TO DEATH by Peter Gordon. A comic whodunnit that would see even Poirot at a loss for words!

  Set in a country manor house in the 1930s, Gordon’s play is a hilarious spoof of the Agatha Christie genre with all the traditional character stereotypes beautifully portrayed to the delight of the audience. Among the characters is Miss “Maple”, who is of course rather good at detective work, an English Colonel with the pre-requisite stiff upper lip and Inspector Pratt, England’s answer to Inspector Clouseau. Add to this a butler, a smooth-talking French art-dealer and a traditional English policeman and you have the ingredients for an evening of mayhem and murder.
  So- will you start with the unmistakeable and proceed to the “un-unmistakable”?
  Can you guess who did it, or will you die laughing first?
