Come on down for a great evening’s classic entertainment at the Old Tyme Hall with all the old favourites from “Down at the Old Bull and Bush” to “The Boy I Love is up in the Gallery”. We will also be presenting highlights from Pirates of Penzance, Sweeney Todd and Jack the Ripper alongside the traditional melodrama and some special surprise acts. There will also be a raffle for anyone who wears a Victorian hat and flags will be on sale for “Land of Hope and Glory” with our Proms section.

Sidcup City Varieties presents Music Hall will be performed at the Bob Hope Theatre, Wythfield Road, Eltham on Thursday 7th – Saturday 9th October starting at 7:45pm with the Saturday matinee starting at 2:30pm. Ticket prices start from £10.50. The Sidcup Operatic Society box office can be contacted on 020 8301 2681.

Sidcup Operatic Society (SOS) is a musical theatre company that performs shows, including musicals and light operatic works, once or twice a year (in April and November) as well as music hall, concerts and the annual 'Christmas Cocktail' of words and music. Large production shows are performed at the Bob Hope Theatre, Wythfield Road, Eltham, London SE9 5TG Smaller events are held at Hurst Community Centre, Hurst Road, Sidcup, Kent. SOS welcomes new members in all capacities - backstage, front-of-house, wardrobe, and singing, acting and dancing. We welcome all potential members to come to a Friday rehearsal, where you will find a warm reception, and to join in with the society. We rehearse mainly on Friday evenings for chorus and full company from 7.30pm-10 pm, but also have principal rehearsals, once the show is cast, on Wednesdays at Hurst Community Centre.
