• Notes: Maunder’s popular Oratorio recalls some of the incidents in the last days of Jesus’ life on earth from the rejoicing crowds to the lonely walk over the Mount. With tenor, baritone and soprano soli and SATB chorus with hymns to be sung by the congregation. The music is simple, but rewarding harmony. Popular in churches at Easter we hope to be to be singing in one church on Canvey one in Benfleet/Thundersley and one in Hadleigh.
