- Notes: This beautifully written play about inmates in a Mental State Hospital (America) circa 1960s has stood the test of time. Dale Wasserman’s adaptation of Ken Kesey’s novel is full of emotion, laughter, tension and the uncomfortable realisation that much of what went on then can still be found in many aspects of present day treatment.
