“Outside Edge” a comedy play by Richard Harris.
Outside Edge is set at the local cricket club where Roger is the captain. He takes his job very seriously, but is having trouble assembling a team to play against the British Railways Maintenance Division (Yeading East). This is a minor problem compared to those which are about to occur among his own team with their wives and girlfriends. Bob is having trouble with his wife and ex-wife. Alex’s girlfriend locks herself in the toilet and is having hysterics. Dennis flirts with all of the women, until his wife sets fire to his new BMW! Maggie insists on cuddling Kevin inside her fur coat at every opportunity! And what did happen in Dorking? Can Roger hold it all together or will rain stop play?
