• Roger is struggling to assemble his cricket team to play against the British Railways Maintenance Division (Yeading East), especially as his star bowler, Kevin, has injured his spinning finger. Meanwhile Roger’s wife, Mim, is struggling to organise the club tea. Disputes and complications abound amongst the assorted wives and girlfriends of the players.
