Forum Players and Bourne End Operatic Society are putting on a joint production week commencing May 10th (Tech), Monday 11th (Dress) Senior Citizens Thursday 14th. Performances Friday 15th and Saturday 16th. Rehearsals will be music on Monday and sketches etc on Thursday, both at the Community Centre.

It will be directed by Wendy Keeble and the Director will be Louise Langley.

The first half will be a number of sketches, musical items including some show medleys and individual items and the second half will be a Melodrama, comic songs and general Music Hall items.

The show is open to anyone who would like to audition and there will be an opportunity for singers to act and actors to sing (providing they can!)

We are looking for anyone who would like to take part and people who have a particular party piece or item they would like to put forward will be considered. All items will be auditioned before being included in the programme and Wendy and Louise will have the final decision on the content.

We will also need lots of backstage support for lighting, costumes, sound, props etc.

It is a great opportunity for as many people to get involved who would like to and a real way of putting both societies back in front of an audience.

We are having a general meeting on February 9th at 8pm in the small hall at Bourne End Community Centre for anyone interested, We will have some ideas to discuss and some material to look at so please come along. This is an informal evening for us to bounce ideas around and to give people a better idea of what we have in mind.

If there are any questions, or if you can’t make the 9th then please get in touch.
