A banned text
A secret enactment
A fateful discovery
After the success of Alfie, Imperial Productions return to Barons Court with this highly original look at a classic, using an abridged version of Shakespeare’s text in a production influenced by Dead Poets Society.
This version of Romeo And Juliet is set in a Girl’s School where the headmistress has banned all works by dead white males – which includes William Shakespeare. A group of schoolgirls plan to stage a secret production of the play, rehearsing in the school’s cellars at midnight. All is going well until Matron comes down into the cellar to investigate …
Expected to be Barons Court’s “Hit Of The Year”. Early booking recommended.
