The Swan Players are to perform the comedy drama Senior Salsa by Keith Wass at The Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough on November 18th, 19th and 20th at 7.30.
About the Author
Swan Players is a drama group who meet at The Swan, Bramham, Leeds. The company was formed in 1996 to produce “Towton” by Andrew MacHutchon at The Rowntree Theatre in York. The Swans continued to perform a range of drama and comedy there until their move to Harrogate Theatre in April 2002. 2007 saw the company perform at The Carriageworks for the first time, bringing "Towton" to a Leeds audience. Alan Bennett's "Habeas Corpus" followed. Harrogate Theatre was favoured again in 2009 for a double bill of "Shakespeare with a twist" - Ruby of Elsinore" and " The Droitwich Discovery". Currently, they are rehearsing a new comedy drama, Senior Salsa by Keith Wass.
