2011 is a special year for The Willington Players with it being our 40^th Anniversary in February.

We are planning various events and Productions during the year, starting with our Pantomime Sleeping Beauty which runs from  Wednesday 26^th to Saturday 29^th January.

Rehearsals are underway and tickets are now on sale and we would appreciate your support.

Synopsis:

The familiar story: Boy meets Girl, Girl drops off!

But don’t you expect a quiet night out! Old King Cole and ‘Not So Old’ Queen Cole are pleased to invite everyone who is anyone to the Christening of their daughter Cheryl. But after Twinkle, Postman Pat and the Doctor have a mix up over deliveries Fate takes a hand and we are left to wonder why she is so cruel and quite what Destiny has in store for our young prince and princess.

This family pantomime is teeming with fun, music, song and corny jokes. Packed full of wonderful characters such as the great Wizard Crumpled Drawers, The Catcher, The Fairy Musketeers, The Woodland and Fairy Folk and of course our traditional Pantomime Dame, Queen Gaga.
