• Notes: Three ‘average’ school leavers, using the format of an end-of-term play, tell the story of their inspirational drama teacher’s year with them and how his influence helped to give them aims and ambitions.The play runs a whole gamut of emotions, simultaneously tackling he themes of inequality in education and a new teacher’s battles with recalcitrant classes, cynical colleagus and obstructive caretakers. At times coarse and brash, it is a comedy with a poignant edge. It is designed for three actors to play over twenty characters!!
