The Eurovisual Song Contest 2
- Jul 27th 2011 7:45 pm to Jul 30th 2011 10:45 pm
Eurovisual 2 is a musical comedy. Yet again, The Eurovisual Broadcasting Union has run out of funds and they have had to not only return to Colnbrook Village Hall, but also recycle yet more previous Eurovisionary songs as they have no money to pay any script writers for any new material. This also means that Tim Cole, who wrote the highly successful Eurovisual 1 has been drafted back in to work for free!!!!
With two new hosts to compare the show, Graham Nowton taking over Sir Terry Wigon’s spot in the giant TV to guide the audience through the show and explain the voting, together with the introduction of plasma screens and electronic voting, this second Eurovisual show promises to be even more exciting than the first.
The show is split into two acts. Act one will be the introduction by hosts, instructions on how the audience votes and the presentation of the ten songs competing. Act two will be the interval act (a medley of past entries), the votes from each country and the crowning of the winning song.
The audience will be split over ten tables, each table will be one of the countries that are competing. The audience will be asked to vote on each song (but not the one from the country at which table they are sat at) and these votes will be collected in the actual interval for collating and announcing during the second act.
