- Notes: For their next production, Ruislip Dramatic Society return to the Compass Theatre with one of the nation’s favourite stage thrillers: The Ghost Train”. Written in 1925 by Arnold Ridley (best known for his role as Private Godfrey in “Dad’s Army”) this classic play has been performed at theatres around the world over the years and also been adapted for film no less than three times. With a dramatic storyline and a wonderful array of special effects it has become a firm favourite with audiences worldwide. Set in a lonely railway station waiting room in Cornwall
