Trouble is afoot. Or rather, a letter. From London. A government inspector is en route to inspect the local government of a town. Ordinarily this isn’t a problem but suppose, I mean just suppose that the local government were guilty of corruption and misadministration on a spectacular scale? That kind of thing doesn’t go down well in an age of budget cuts and austerity. Luckily, the mayor has a plan to deal with the inspector…that’s assuming the man licking his daughters shoulder is a government inspector…
