• Notes: Junior Dover Jnr hasn’t made a picture since his last flop ‘Zombies of the Stratosphere’, but his latest venture has ‘everything’ from ‘earthquakes to insane killer sharks’. He insidiously cons six major movie stars, including a few has-beens and a maybe, to ‘star’ in his upcoming picture. He does this by tailoring 6 separate scripts and with crafty shooting-schedules manages to keep them all fooled until the movie is made; an assumption that leads to all kinds of madcap stage frenzy. How Junior manages to stay one jump ahead of disaster makes this musical a champion laugh getter! There are 18 wildly funny musical numbers that spoof the foibles of Hollywood, like Plato Voltaire’s ‘You Genius, You!’ odious Baby Bernice Bumble’s ‘Tappin’ to the Top!’ and Flint Wormwood and Apassionata Abalone’s show-stopping duet ‘Practice Makes Perfect’.
