- Notes: Wick Theatre Company first staged this hilarious and heart-warming tale of two schools by John Dighton back in 1957. A fiftieth anniversary presentation is directed by Ray Hopper, who made his acting debut as a mischievous schoolboy in the original production. The plot is as fresh and funny as it was back then. Headmaster Godfrey Pond and his staff are happy to be back at Hilary Hall after wartime evacuation
