Extra Information

  • Notes: Second Thoughts return to the magical setting of Hall’s Croft in Stratford-upon-Avon for their fourth outdoor production there. This summer they will perform Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. An exciting mix of magic, romance, retribution and forgiveness, ‘The Tempest’ is often regarded as the author’s farewell to the stage, and where better to perform it than in the gardens of his son-in-law’s house, which he would have known well at the end of his career.Directed by Graham Tyrer (Orsino and Touchstone in previous outdoor productions, and director of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’), ‘The Tempest promises to be an exciting evening for all ages, combining the beauty of the centuries-old surroundings with magical effects using up-to-date technology.
